We are looking for an experienced Business Travel consultant to join our successful Business Travel Centre team based in Greater Manchester. Due to the success and continued growth of the Centre we are looking for an established specialist to provide outstanding service to all new and existing corporate clients including servicing retail travel enquires i.e. holidays. Working to the highest levels of professionalism and dedication to delivering excellent service every time to our clients, we are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic individual who can work well as part of a team. All applicants must have extensive experience booking business travel via one of the major GDS systems (preferably Sabre), a flexible approach, be personable and focused on quality.
Taking enquires over the phone and via email for various business travel accounts and retail travel clients.
All aspects of booking corporate business & retail travel.
Souring the best and most cost-effective travel elements for ALL enquires.
Responsible for end to end management and ownership of key business accounts and retail clients.
Issuing tickets and performing calculations and/or re-calculations for international and domestic airfares.
Strong administration and organisational skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with all internal and external customers
Strong experience gained in Business/Corporate Travel and/or Retail Travel (Agency or Tour Operator)
Previous experience using Sabre or alternatively another GDS
Experience of booking worldwide flights, hotels and car hire
Knowledge of net and published fares
Knowledge of ‘dynamic packaging’ of retail travel components.
