Accor introduces new Covid-19 measures for meeting and events
Accor has launched a series of initiatives aimed at encouraging meetings and events to restart at its properties.
A total of 135 of its Northern European hotels have introduced “All Meet Well” measures, designed to reassure delegates in the Covid-19 era.
The measures include vacuum cleaners fitted with HEPA filters, and evening and lunch break cleaning routines including the disinfecting of light switches, door handles, chairs, tables, hangers and consoles.
Cleaning checklists will be provided to event organisers prior to meetings taking place, and all events will be run in line with the group’s already established Allsafe global cleanliness and prevention programme.
At the same time Accor is attempting to encourage meetings and events bookings with a “Reconnect” initiative at its UK, Ireland and Benelux properties, including double meeting planner points with the group’s All loyalty programme, “flexible and transparent contracts with applicable Covid -19 clauses” at UK hotels, and one in ten free on day or residential delegate packages.
