Lufthansa adds long-haul routes from Frankfurt and Munich

Lufthansa has announced a further increase in its long-haul operations, with a total of 34 destinations and 112 weekly connections now available outside Europe.
The carrier is gradually ramping up its route network during June, and the following routes are now bookable:
From Frankfurt
Cairo, Beijing, Shanghai and San Jose (Costa Rica)
From Munich
San Francisco, Delhi, Montreal and Seoul
The above services add to previously announced long-haul routes from Frankfurt to Toronto, Mexico City, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Tel Aviv, Riyadh, Bahrain, Johannesburg, Dubai, Mumbai, Newark, Chicago, Sao Paulo, Tokyo and Bangkok, and from Munich to Chicago, Los Angeles, and Tel Aviv.
The long-haul destinations are part of Lufthansa Group plans to offer over 2,000 weekly frequencies to over 130 destinations next month, an increase on the 1,800 which were announced earlier this month.
