Last week was Mental Health Awareness Week and a good opportunity to review how well your teams are coping with working remotely.
 As we continue into an extended lockdown situation, where working from home is still being promoted by the government, we are hearing of more and more individuals struggling with their mental health as a result.
Now would be a good time to check in and take stock, particularly with employees working from home and those on furlough leave.
Attached is a guide produced by the CIPD which gives strategies for continuing to support home workers. Does your business have an Employee Assistance Programme in place or via the healthcare provider? Ensure that your teams have access to help and support, even if this is just signposting them to certain specialist organisations such as:
I guess everyone has a bit of ‘Zoom fatigue’ if they are still working, but your colleagues on furlough may still benefit from group Zoom socials – quizzes, bingo, gin o’clock – to name a few!
