Lufthansa Group has announced plans to ramp up its services from the UK and Ireland from the start of June.
The move is part of the group’s intention to operate 1,800 weekly connections to 106 European and 20 long-haul destinations from next month.
The plans include a resumption of services from Birmingham, Dublin, Edinburgh and Manchester, as well as additional flights from London Heathrow.
In total there will be 40 additional weekly connections from the UK and Ireland (up from the current 23 to 63), across the group’s Lufthansa, Swiss and Eurowings subsidiaries.
